We decided to drop anchor in
Barcelona for a few months while waiting for the new
crew along with summer to arrive. Its an incredible city - great food, very
friendly people, a wide variety of art and entertainment, and plenty of
supplies. You can even have your groceries delivered right to your boat from the
local super market. Behind us and to the left are the shipyards that Columbus
sailed out of. A side benefit of being stuck for a while is that its much easier
for friends to find us and drop in for a visit...
Our friend John dropped in for a
24 hour crash course in Gaudi and Tapas.
Allison and Jerry
shuttled our repaired laptop out from states and returned with 10 times its
weight in Spanish pottery. They also managed to get to the top of Gaudi's
Sagrada Familia without fainting from vertigo in the narrow towers.

Jay and Benson hung out for
a week of R and R before Benson starts a new gig back in SF. They walked
everywhere even though the buses became even cheaper while they were here due to
the euro falling...gave them a good reason to stop for beer and tapas every
three blocks.
