First Weeks In Shanghai

May 5th we hopped a plane from SFO to Shanghai for a two month exploration of life in Shanghai.

Its lots of fun to play legos...at 3am jeglegged out of your mind!

888 Springdale building #3 - our home away from home. The apartment was graciously sublet to us by a friend of a classmate who fortunately has a four year old son - built in toys!

Dad, are all the TVs in China this big?

Collin spends most meals being shuttled from waitress to waitress as they coo over his blond hair - sure makes eating easier for us.

While in the dress shop a young chinese girl walked in, helped with translation, swept up Collin in her arms and exited stage left...

...to serve him tea from her home province of Oolong. We've since hired her to babysit.

Collin hasn't quite got the hang of chopsticks yet so his diet is primarily whatever dad can pickup and place directly in his mouth.
